Pin Traxx

2-D hard enamel pin on a base of silvery metal. At the back the close consists of 2 butterfly clasps. The Traxx is 40mm long and 16,85mm high.

After first leasing a few of these locomotives from a different company, the Dutch Railways (NS) moved to buy the first of these TRAXX locs (Transnational Railway Applications with eXtreme fleXibility) in their own corporate yellow-blue colourscheme. SInce the end of 2014 we can see these locomotives all over the dutch railways. The Traxx combined with the intercitycarriages make up the Intercity Direct and is mostly exploited over the HSL (High Speed Line service).
