Pin Nmbs Traxx

2-D hard enamel pin on a base of silvery metal. At the back the close consists of 2 butterfly clasps. The NMBS Traxx is 40mm long and 19,8mm high.

After first leasing a few of these locomotives from a different company, the Dutch Railways (NS) moved to buy the first of these TRAXX locs (Transnational Railway Applications with eXTreme fleXibility) in their own corporate yellow-blue colourscheme. Since the end of 2014 we can see these locomotives all over the dutch railways. The NMBS (National Railway Company of Belgium) Traxx, paired with the NS Traxx make up the HSL (High Speed Lineservice) and under the banner of the Intercity Direct transport people from major trainstations in mostly the western part of the Netherlands aswell as on the route to Brussels. The NMBS Traxx is executed in gray-green, with red and white accents.
